Why This Matters
Unless you are a degenerate gambler looking to track your bets or a die-hard golf obsessive willing to ruin your sleep schedule, this event has zero bearing on your daily life. It serves as a reminder of how sports media has pivoted into a thinly veiled funnel for streaming subscriptions and betting platforms. If you find yourself losing sleep over the swing mechanics of multi-millionaire athletes in Japan, it might be time to step away from the screen.
